The next HAARK album proper will be called "Social Justice Warrior", and will orbit around the concept of social justice being a positive and noble pursuit, immeasurably more desirable, both personally and utilitarianistically, than shallow selfishness, free market corporatism, or traditionalised bigotry. (As far as insults go, "Social Justice Warrior" would seem perhaps the least effective/offensive/degrading one imaginable - for indeed, if you are not on the side of social justice, you are on the side of injustice, which can hardly be a tenable position from which to construct a desirable society, nor can it appear defensible to anyone but the most twisted destructive neo-libertarianist.) So, in preparation for this next album, HAARK decided to perform a series of "sketches", entirely improvised pieces built around this conceptual framework of social justice warriorhood. This live set, the first of the themed "sketches", was performed at Aeso Studios on the evening of the 13th of October, 2016, between the industrial clanking drones of Scumwitch and the ragged psychedelic krautscapes of Go Tsushima.
Improvised by HAARK.
Recorded at Aeso Studios, bootlegged straight to iPhone.
